Warnings – Important Information Funchal City Race 2022
We ask your attention for the following information:
Note: changes to registrations, teams, rank, course, will not be allowed after the publication of the start list. Any justified change request must be addressed by email until 20:00 on the 28th of Nov.
- The start of stage 1 is located 1200m from the center of the event (Main Entrance to Parque de Santa Catarina – Avenida do Infante), the access route to the start will be signposted. Participants must arrive at the event center on time, register at the secretariat and leave on time.
- Stage 1 – Start of the first orienteers at 10:00 am
- Stage 1 has a timeout of 50 minutes.
- No starts will be allowed beyond the times published in the match list (E1 – 11:10 / E2 – 12:10) , except for new authorized entries.
- The start of stage 2 is located 400 meters from the end of stage one. After the end of Stage 1, participants must download the chip, and only then, should they head to the concentration area of stage 2, following the signs.

- The 2nd stage competition area includes roads with car traffic. We warn all participants that they should pay close attention and take the necessary precautions when crossing roads with car traffic.
